Tobi Amusan is an inspiration and a role model for aspiring Nigerian athletes. Her success rate shows the athlete always strives for excellence and has an unrelenting spirit.

During her interview with the journalists, Tobi said running the race was not easy for her because of the injuries on her knee and hamstring, but she trusted in her ability to win.

"It was not easy for me with injuries in my hamstring and my knee. But I trusted in my coach and my work. It’s all about the process. I just won this in a smooth style, I was just running. Honestly, I had no idea that I won when I crossed the finish line."
