World Record Breaker Tobi Amusan has made Nigeria proud again by winning the Silesia Diamond League women's 100m hurdles. She broke the record by running for 12.34 seconds. USA athlete Harrison Kendra came second with a race record of 12.35s, while athlete ALI Nia emerged third by running the race at 12.38 seconds.

In July, Amusan emerged second position at the 2023 Lausanne Diamond League by running for 12.47 seconds, while she finished first place at the 2023 Stockholm Diamond League. She broke the record at 12.52 seconds.

During her interview with the journalists, Tobi said running the race was not easy for her because of the injuries on her knee and hamstring, but she trusted in her ability to win.
"It was not easy for me with injuries in my hamstring and my knee. But I trusted in my coach and my work. It’s all about the process. I just won this in a smooth style, I was just running. Honestly, I had no idea that I won when I crossed the finish line."
