Tobi Bakre shares why he didn't participate in the BBNAIJA All-Stars show
Famous Nigerian actor, Tobi Bakre has revealed the reason why he didn't participate in the recently concluded Big Brother Naija All-stars season 8 show. Recall the actor participated in the BBnaija Double Wahala season 3 in 2018. He became very famous after his stay in the BBNAIJA house.
Tobi Bakre is a 29 year old actor. He was born on the 1st of June 1994 in Lagos state. He is married to Anu Bakre and they have 2 children together. He has acted in many movies including Slum King, Gangs of Lagos, Sugar Rush, Brotherhood, Mokalik, unintentional and others. He has won awards like the Best actor in AMVCA as well as the recently concluded AMAA.
He was speaking in an interview with Urban FM and he revealed why he didn't go to the 2023 BBnaija show. He had been speaking about his latest movie titled Slum King and how he started acting.
He stated "I started off from Big Brother and my first ever appearance on screen was on Africa Magic, it was called Hustle… that was pretty much how I started. You know being in front of the camera, I remember my first few days in front of the camera were awkward as hell"
He shared how he felt strange acting in front of a camera and was worried if he had acted well. He revealed that he began to observe how things were done and got into it well. He revealed that Slum king was his first time reading such a bulky script and he had to read everything because he is the lead character.
He was then asked why he didn't make it to the BBNAIJA All-Stars show this year. Ge said he had things to do and BBNAIJA didn't fit into his plans at the time.
He stated "Yeah, it was cold, but you know, I think the things I had to do, everything I had going on at the time, it just didn't match. I couldn't have that in my space at the time"
Recall fans had been question why Tobi wasn't in the All-Stars show especially since his love interests in the 2018 show, CeeC and Alex were in the All-Stars show.
