Tottenham Hotspur will be back in action this weekend after two weeks off as they host Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Saturday, March 2.

Ange Postecoglou's men have enjoyed a short rest since a concerned setback to Wolverhampton as they prepare for a battle with the Eagles in a London Derby.

The Spurs manager has proven to everyone that he was no magician due to their recent poor performances at home.

Tottenham were able to get a break and recover ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Crystal Palace due to their match against Chelsea being postponed following the Blues Carabao Cup final last weekend.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are still in the early days of their new exciting era under Oliver Glasner. The Eagles boss watched his side get off to a winning start against Burnley last weekend but a match against Spurs will undoubtedly be a tough test.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Team News

Tottenham

Tottenham were dealt two crushing defensive blows before the beating to Wolves. Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie sat out an open training session at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both players missed the tie with O'Neil's men due to strain and knee injury respectively.

Udogie's situation is predicted to clear up in time for the London derby, but there is still a doubt hanging over Porro's head, and fellow wideman Ryan Sessegnon could now miss the rest of the season after another cruel hamstring setback.

The England player has gone through surgery after injuring himself on Under-21 international duty.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, might be without their key defender Joachim Andersen. He couldn't complete the full 90 minutes against Burnley due to a cramp, but the former Lyon player's discomfort should not hinder his chances of starting in the lineup.

Glasner is also positive that Eberechi Eze - who returned to training last week after a thigh injury - will make the trip to North London, and the same can be said for Will Hughes, who has missed the team's last two games with an ankle issue.

Also, Michael Olise (hamstring), Rob Holding (ankle), Marc Guehi (knee), Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (thigh), and long-term Achilles victim Cheick Doucoure who has just penned a new contract at Selhurst Park, remain sidelined, and will not be back in action shortly.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace potential starting lineup:

Tottenham;

Vicario; Royal, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison

Crystal Palace;

Johnstone; Ward, Richards, Andersen; Munoz, Wharton, Lerma, Mitchell; Eze, Ayew; Mateta

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Kickoff time, Date, and Venue;

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace prediction

With Tottenham having had time off and potentially welcoming back both of their full-backs, they seem good value for a victory, therefore we predict that Postecoglou's men will bag all three points with a 2-1 scoreline.
