A thriller has fallen and blocked a road in Anambra State. The fall of this truck has caused a gridlock in this area in the state.
The manner in which the trailer fell, crossed the road and blocked almost the entire road.
This has caused many motorists discomfort as they try to navigate around this road block.
This incident happened on Onitsha-owerri road in Anambra. The trailer had been on its way to Onitsha.
The container which the trailer was carrying was a huge 40 feet one.
The driver had been trying to cross to another lane when it fell.
This incident has caused a gridlock for 3 days now and people spend hours on this road trying to go across the other side.
The cab men have increased their prices due to having to take longer alternative roads to avoid this road block.
As on Sunday, yesterday, the gridlock had become even worse than when it happened on Thursday.
The other lane has also become blocked as some drivers tried to go through that lane.
Some people from the emergency reasons team have responded to this and have tried to divert the traffic. Residents expressed their displeasure at the fact that the container had not been moved from the road after 3 days.
