Trailer somersaults on Apapa's Liverpool bridge
A trailer conveying 20ft containers has somersaulted on Apapa's Liverpool bridge after the driver lost control of the wheel. It was reported that the trailer was moving smoothly until it started reversing and somersaulted on the bridge. Fortunately, it didn't fall under the bridge as many traders were underneath the bridge selling all kinds of wares.
Nigerians appreciate that no casualty was recorded as everything that happened remained on the bridge without harming those who were underneath. Onlookers flooded the accident scene immediately after it happened and there has been no news on whether the trailer and container are still on the bridge.
Trailer accidents are known to be brutal as most of the victims hardly survive the hit. Thankfully, no life was lost in this case as commuters awaited the right authorities to secure the container and help lift the trailer from the scene.
