Liverpool and England football star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been relentlessly pursued by a sex-crazed stalker for the past year.

In response to this disturbing harassment, the player has taken measures to protect himself, such as changing his phone number, installing CCTV and additional alarms at his Cheshire home, and having his mail screened for explicit content.

Meanwhile, despite efforts to improve the situation, Alexander-Arnold now feels inconvenienced and insecure due to the escalating nature of the situation.

The Sun recently reported that the England star is doing everything in his power to deal with the stalker and ensure his well-being.

According to The Sun, the footballer has now taken a bold move to enlist the help of a bodyguard and a private detective for his safety.

The Sun also mentions that the woman has appeared at the defender's house, Liverpool's training ground, and has even followed him to his favorite restaurants.

Additionally, the 26-year-old has been advised by security not to share his movements on social media, and his family has received disturbing messages from the stalker.

It is reported that Liverpool are aware of the situation and are offering their complete support to Alexander-Arnold.

A source told The Sun that the stalker has terrorized Alexander-Arnold and his family, flooding the footballer with explicit messages and calling him endlessly.

A source told The Sun: ''This has been more than a year of hell for Trent."

''This woman has terrorized him and his family, bombarding him with explicit messages, getting hold of his number and calling him endlessly, and sending unhinged letters and obscene materials to his Cheshire home."

''It’s been a worrying time, and Trent has done his utmost not to let it affect his performances on the pitch.''

It is unclear from the report whether the police have been informed of the situation, but the news comes less than 24 hours before Liverpool's match against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Meanwhile, this is all the more challenging as the 26-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee injury and will not be available for tomorrow's showpiece event.

Since his debut in 2016, Alexander-Arnold has become an integral player for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, making more than 300 appearances.

In addition to his defensive role at the Merseyside club, he has proven his versatility by also playing in the midfield.

Alexander-Arnold has also represented England, earning 23 caps since his debut in 2018 and participating in the 2018 and 2022 World Cup.

This season, he has made 29 appearances for Liverpool, scoring twice and providing 10 assists as the team competes in all four competitions.
