Group Managing Director/CEO Dr. Oliver Alawuba laid out UBA’s ambitious roadmap:

He recalled UBA’s humble beginnings in 1949 as the British and French Bank on Kakawa Street, Lagos Island. Fast forward to today, UBA operates in 20 African countries and 4 international financial hubs — New York, London, Paris, and Dubai — proudly serving over 45 million customers.

• Gross Earnings grew by 53.6% to ₦3.19 trillion
• Total Assets soared by 46.8% to ₦30.32 trillion
• Shareholders’ Funds surged by 68.39% to ₦3.42 trillion
