A 100-level zoology student of the University of Ilorin known as Moyosore Bright escapes kidnappers who attempted to abduct her on a one-chance bus in the Tanke area of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Bright who boarded a bus known as Korope, from her school to her hostel on Friday alongside other students. Several hours later, she found herself in a bush on the outskirts of the town. She was unconscious and had no idea what happened to her. Her personal belongings including a gold necklace, her debit cards, and a sum of 3000 naira had already been stolen by the kidnappers but her mobile phone was in good condition.
The Tanke Police Command said serious investigations are ongoing to ensure the perpetrators are brought to book. They also assured the public and the institution that they will remain steadfast in combating all forms of criminalities in the state.
