VeryDarkMan calls out Ashmusy for N1 million advertisement scam
Nigerian Human Rights Activist VeryDarkMan calls out content creator Ashmusy for scamming an innocent man of N1 million. She allegedly received the money for an advert in 2023 and refused to conduct the advert after an initial agreement. The man she scammed had a building materials shop at Alaba market and didn't doubt her ability to fulfill her part of the contract before paying.
But months after Ashmusy received the payment, she started making excuses about how she couldn't travel to the Alaba market just to conduct an advert. She allegedly said that she had rebranded and receiving N1 million was like a dent in her image because she is worth more. She claimed that traveling to the mainland from her place takes 24 hours and she wouldn't like to waste her time like that.
However, if the man is willing to top up the initial payment with an extra N1.5 million, she will gladly conduct the advert for him. This conversation had been ongoing for months and the man who gave her the contract got frustrated and requested a refund. Shockingly, Ashmusy said that her refund policy takes 3 to 6 months to process and the man has to wait till then before receiving his money back. But two months before the deadline of Ashmusy's refund policy, the man sent her a reminder regarding the payment and she said nothing would happen if she decided not to refund the N1 million.
This made VeryDarkMan call her a bad person and a thief who scams people of their hard-earned money.
