Victory Gbakara reveals that he didn't expect that he would win Nigerian Idol
Singer Victory Gbakara has revealed that he didn't expect that he was out to win the Nigerian Idol season 8.
Victory is the winner of the Nigerian Idol Season 8 TV show.
Recall he and Precious Mac were the top 3 finalists after Quest was evicted.
After his win, he had a chat with Vanguard and this was where he revealed this information.
He says he had prayed about it but he didn't see the win coming.
Precious Mac was his closest rival as she was the only other top 2 finalists. He says she is an amazing singer and has a great voice. He also shared that he is happy He met people like her.

The show was for 8 weeks and at the end, Victory was declared as the winner of the show.
The show was aired on DStv and GOtv. There had been thousands of auditions which were cut down to 29 contestants, and later 10 contestants.
As the winner, Victory was given a cash prize of N35 million, a brand new SUV, one Bigi Refrigerator and one year’s supply of Bigi soft drinks. He was also given an all-expense paid trip which was courtesy of Tecno Mobiles. He also got a music record deal including a video shoot.
More prizes include one year supply of WAW detergent, and a fully installed DStv Explora with one year Premium subscription.
Previous winners of this show include Progress Chukwuyem who won last ear, 2023 and also Kingdom Kroseide, who won the title in 2021.
