Video: KAI arrests Lagosians for refusing to use the pedestrian bridge
Officials of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) have arrested some Lagosians who refused to use the pedestrian bridge despite the warnings. These women refused to enter inside the KAI's black maria and the male officials bundled them with force. This video sparked controversy in the media as some were unsatisfied with how the women were forcefully carried inside the bus by the KAI officials.
They argued that the officials should have been more lenient with the women or handed them a letter to pay an immediate fine for breaking the law. To avoid such embarrassment, Nigerians are advised to make use of the pedestrian bridge instead of risking their lives to cross on the highway.
