Farooq Oreagba, the Nigerian millionaire who got Nigerians talking during the Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State has opened up on his battle with cancer and his newfound fame.

Farooq Oreagba, an investment banker and the CEO of NG Clearing Limited, stunned many with his style, composure, and grand entrance on horseback at the just-concluded Ojude Oba festival. His photos and videos flooded the internet and have been making headlines ever since. In an interview with Arise TV, Farooq Oreagba finally breaks silence on his newfound fame and how he was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago.

Farooq Oreagba revealed that he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in February 2014 and his priorities changed ever since. He beat cancer and he promised to enjoy life for as long as he could. He expressed that his family comes before anything else and he doesn't know how much time he has left so he is living life to the fullest. Farooq Oreagba said the Ojude Oba festival is a huge event and the horseback riding is rotated periodically among family members.
