A visually impaired man has been arrested in Ghana for killing his wife.
This man has been identified as Mudor George and he is 71 years old.
He was picked up by the police for killing his wife at Abepotia in Kwahu West Municipality in Ghana.
This man wasn't born blind but only contracted the ailment about five years ago.
This incident happened on the 14th of March. He beheaded his 65 year old wife while she was asleep. The wife whose name is Georgina has allegedly mentioned that she was going to divorce him.
Sources state that they were in an argument and the man accused her of being ungrateful for every thing he has done for her when he wasn't blind. He was angry that she was threatening him with a divorce after he had lost his sight.
The body of his wife has been deposited at a hospital, The Holy Family Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The suspect is still in the police station.
