Newcastle United 1-3 Nottingham Forest

In the early kickoff, Newcastle United recorded their sixth defeat in their last seven Premier League games as Nottingham Forest new manager Espirito Dos Santos records his first win with the Tricky Trees since after taking over from Steve Cooper.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for the Magpies in the 26th minute via a spotkick. Isak's early lewd was cancelled by Wood in stoppage-time of the first half. Both sides went into the break on a 1-1 draw.
