Donning a red shirt and black shorts with his football boots, the Bundesliga sensation sent social media buzzing with his skillful legwork in the match.
With few spectators lining up the rough field, Boniface took his Bundesliga form to the Nigerian streets as he latched on the ball, skillfully stealing his way through a serenade of opponents, before heading towards the makeshift goal.
He did not actually score but his beautiful footwork sent tongues wagging.
