We are not beggars, Estate chairman fires at Governor Dapo Abiodun over insufficient palliative
The chairman of Sokeye CDA in Ogun State has called out Governor Dapo Abiodun over the ridiculous palliative that was delivered to the community members. The chairman complained that he was resting in his house when he received a call to come to collect the palliatives for his estate. Upon getting there, he was given just one small bag of rice to share with all the residents of the estate which had 147 houses.
The chairman found it highly ridiculous and degrading and had to record a video to express his dissatisfaction. He wondered how on earth the Ogun State governor would share that small rice with the residents of 147 houses in the Sokeye estate
He said that if Governor Dapo knows he is incapable of sharing a palliative, he shouldn't share it at all for it is better than delivering this small bag of rice as if they begged for it. The chairman said he would not receive the rice, instead, it should be returned to Dapo Abiodun and President Tinubu. "We are not beggars. If you know you are incapable of doing something, then don't do it," he concluded.
