Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido's hypeman Spesh blasts the organizers of the Grammys Award following the singer's huge loss at the 66th Grammy Awards yesterday.
Davido's album Timeless was nominated for the Global Music Album, and his songs "Feel" and "Unavailable" for Global Music Performance and Best African Music Performance respectively. Unfortunately, he lost all three.
Reacting to this, his hypeman Special Spesh took to his Instagram page saying Nigerian artists will no longer give foreigners the chance to control the Afrobeats genre. He stated that Americans always want to be in control of something when it gets to its peak. He also called out the Grammys for ignoring other nominees in the Best African Music Performance category and awarding Tyla who sang a song about erotic pleasures.
