West Ham have finally sign the deal to sell Declan Rice to Arsenal
It has been over a week when the two clubs reached a record £105m for Declan Rice.
Arsenal agreed to pay £100m transfer fee plus £5m add-ons for Rice.
After the agreement, it has been over a week but Arsenal are yet to unveil Declan Rice as the club's new player.
Rice missed out of the club's new home kit unveiling on Monday speaking reactions the deal may have not been sealed by the two parties.
Sources close to the club revealed Mikel Arteta wanted draft Declan Rice into his Arsenal squad for preseason and wanted the deal to be completed and a the unveiling done before preseason on Thursday
However, it was understood the deal was not completed as Arteta envisaged before the preseason campaign.
Arsenal played Nurnberg in their first preseason campaign on Thursday with out Rice.
Futballnews learnt the delay in Declan Rice announcement as Arsenal player was not caused by West Ham.
According to reports, West Ham did not finalize the deal, signing it off for the announcement to be done but it was understood the club had agreed to all details of the deal with Arsenal.
The delay was reportedly caused by Arsenal lawyers who were painstakingly sleuthing through all details of the deal before approval.
After going through all terms of agreement between the two clubs, the papers were expected to be sent back to West Ham United for them to sign it off.
It was understood West Ham were ready to rubber-stamp the deal after scrutiny by Arsenal lawyers hence the Hammers were not to be blame for the delay in announcement and unveiling of Rice by Arsenal.

After much ado, it has been confirmed West Ham have finally signed the deal for Declan Rice to join. Arsenal lawyers are done with their examination of the terms of agreement and have given their approval forwarding it to West Ham to sign it.
With West Ham having signed off the deal, Arsenal are expected to announce and unveil Declan Rice finally before the team traveled to USA for their preseason tour.
This means Declan Rice will likely be unveiled on or before Sunday when the USA preseason begins as Rice will be expected to join Mikel Arteta's squad for the tour.
Rice is the second most expensive English player after completing the 105m move to Arsenal. He is behind Jude Bellingham who joined Real Madrid for £115m, and above Jack Grealish, Harry Maguire, and Jadon Sancho who were bought for £100m, £80m, and £73m respectively.
