Adams oshiomhole is a former national chairman of the All Progressive Congress. He once served as the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress and this was between 1999 to 2007. He finished his governorship tenure on the 12th of November 2016 and in 2 years became the chairman of the APC.
He emerged as the National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the
23rd of June 2018. He was declared as the chairman after a voice vote by delegates at the party National convention.
A year later, on the 12th of November 2019, he was suspended from the APC. It was because 18 Local Government Chairmen of AOc in Edo State had passed a vote of no confidence on him. They accused him of trying to disintegrate the party. From here on, he could no longer be identified as the chairman. He later won the APC primaries for 2023 Edo North Senatorial Elections.
