Alaga Ibile, as he is fondly called, said he had to put his musical career to a stop because he started getting distant from his family. The 42-year old singer said he had no time for his children and he lived like a stranger in his own home.

Reminisce said he may not see his kids for up to four days and they both live in the same house. He explained that whenever he's at home, his kids may be in school and by the time they're back home, he's already out.

Reminisce narrated a certain incident that occurred in his home during his absence. He said while he was away, his wife repainted the house and changed the interior. It was around the period when he dropped albums every year so he was always busy. He didn't notice the new painting in the house for a long time until he got home that day and noticed the walls were pink. Then he realized the walls had been painted for about two years.

He said that was the minute he realized his career was taking more of his time and he needed to fix up. He expressed that he has chosen family over everything and that's his sole priority at the moment.

He said, "That was the time I decided to chill for a while because the game isn't going anywhere. I've chosen family over everything because that's what I want to make my priority right now."
