Late Nigerian singer Mohbad's wife Omowunmi finally reveals the reason why her father-in-law insists on conducting a paternity test for her son.
In a series of Instagram stories, Mohbad's wife expressed her displeasure over her father-in-law's actions and how he is more concerned about his monetary gains than getting justice for his late son. Omowunmi revealed that her father-in-law signed a contract with African Television CEO Larry Omodia to have a 70% share of Mohbad's unpaid royalties from Naira Marley's Marlians Record.
Omowunmi disclosed that nobody including Mohbad never doubted her son's paternity until his death. She said her father-in-law has never contacted her about the DNA test since she first heard it on social media. She had been waiting for a court order to proceed with the DNA since November 2023 but she was told to take her son Liam to her father-in-law.
Omowunmi said she wouldn't be able to do that because her father-in-law took part in defaming her character and lying against her in public. Doing that would expose her son to further potential harm and she cannot do that.
