On the recent episode of reality star TolaniBaj's Bahd and Boujee podcast, she reveals to the public why she won't be needing her single friends anymore once she gets married.
TolaniBaj said as she gets married, her single friends will not be able to help her as she thinks they should anymore because her priorities are now different and they can no longer relate to her new lifestyle.
She listed various things that would keep her occupied in her married life such as taking care of her man, her children, paying for the children's tuition, and picking names for her children. She said her single friends cannot assist her in doing all of these things.
The guest, Moet Abebe countered her statement that it doesn't mean they wouldn't be of assistance to her anymore. TolaniBaj replied asking her about the tuition fee at an elementary school as an example and she said, "I don't know but when I cross that bridge, I guess I will".
TolaniBaj said she would rather ask her married friend that question than ask her single friend because she would give her the best suggestions with every necessary information she needs.
She explained that she's not saying her single friends aren't useful but they just come in at different aspects of her life. She said she would place each friend according to their category.
She said, "As a married woman, I can learn from other married women. That's not saying I'd abandon all my single friends. I'm just saying I can learn more from them."
