Nigerian comedian and MC, Woli Agba, speaks about the title written on a pirated compilation of his videos. Nigerians are so good at pirating the works of creatives since there are no strict laws prohibiting them from doing such.
Woli Agba said he has no issues with the pirated copy but with the title written boldly on the cover of the CD, "HIGH ON IGBO" meaning High on Weed. He said that title is disrespectful to the image he struggled to build and would have appreciated it if it has a more appropriate title that fits his brand image.
"I understand that there is hunger and suffering in this country. After successfully compiling somebody else's work, why couldn't you add a befitting title to the compilation? Are you trying to promote me or taint my image? Why didn't you write a title like, 'Handsome prophet performing miracles' and so on?" Woli Agba stated.
