According to the latest figures over 2,531,804 cases have been detected worldwide, with 174,336 deaths and 665,458 people now recovered.

In Nigeria, there have been 665 cases, with 22 deaths and 188 people recovering from the virus.

According to the latest figures over 2,600,000 cases have been detected worldwide, with 179,000 deaths and 720,000 people now recovered.

In Nigeria, there have been782 cases, with 25 deaths and 197 people recovering from the virus.

US coronavirus update at 01:55 EST (29 April) /22:55 PST on Tuesday 28 April (07:55 CEST on Wednesday 29 April)
According to the latest figures published by Johns Hopkins University, 3,116,992 cases have been detected worldwide, with 217,183 deaths. 928,930 people now recovered.

US figures
In the USA, there have been 1,012,583 cases with 58,355 deaths. 115,936 people have recovered from the virus.

Africa Covid-19 update: 02:00 WAT Wednesday 29 April (03:00 CEST)
According to the latest figures published by Johns Hopkins University, 3,114,659 cases have been detected worldwide, with 216,989 deaths and 925,921 people now recovering.

Nigeria: 1,337 cases / 44 deaths
South Africa: 4,996 cases / 93 deaths
Ghana: 1,671 cases / 16 deaths
Kenya: 374 cases / 14 deaths.

The actual number of cases is most likely higher, due to limited testing capabilities and the way the virus spreads in part because many who may be infected and contagious are likely to be asymptomatic.

unfortunately,i think this virus isn't gonna take a break anytime soon as observed in other adversely affected countries this virus is said to have a peak and i dont think Nigeria is anywhere near that peak.so what we can do now is just to #staysafe
