His real name is Adedeji Aderemi, but he is known popularly as Olofa ina. He passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. His family has shared more information about his burial. They revealed that he will be buried later on today, Friday the 5th of January 2024.

He lived in Ibadan, Oyo state for many years before his death. His son, Adetunji has disclosed that he passed away in the hospital. He shared this with some journalists at the residence of the late actor located at Wakajaye street, Ede, Osun state. His son revealed that he was with him at the hospital when he passed away and he also shared that they brought back the actor's body to their family house.
