You should've made provisions for life jackets, actress Hilda Dokubo tells Adanma Luke
Actress Hilda Dokubo addresses the boat accident which unfortunately took the lives of a Nollywood actor and four other production workers consisting of two sound engineers, a makeup artist, and a production assistant. She sent her condolences to the families of the deceased and proceeded to address the issue. Rita opined they all died an avoidable death. If life jackets were provided for them they would have fought their way and probably stayed alive.
She blamed the movie producer Adanma Luke for not taking care of her staff. Rita believed that even if the boat drivers didn't have life jackets on standby, the producer should have provided jackets for each of her production team because their safety should have been her priority. She shouldn't have left anything to chance. Also, as an individual, Junior Pope and the others should have demanded a life jacket because they have a right to one. If only they had, the causality would have been minimalized.
