Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake has received criticism over the release of his new music video "Only Me".

The music video was shot in a church and Asake, a Muslim, was dressed in a priest attire having communion with his members as the choir sang along.

The video sparked controversy online yesterday as netizens attacked Asake for disrespecting the Christian faith. Netizens also flashed back to the release of Asake Bandana's video where goats were brought inside the church.

@jaydee said, "Firstly he took goats to a church, now this ?? Ordinary someone dancing in front of the mosque there was civil war, they wanted Davido's head for promoting his artist who was also a Muslim. Asake should know when to stop"

@adewunmii said, "He should try it with his religion and stop disrespecting Christianity. They can't take what they dish out obviously."

@samswellg said, "If it was a Christian doing something anti-Muslim, Northern Nigerians would have gone on a killing spree."
