Popular Nigerian musician Paul Okoye has shared some words of advice for Nigerians. He recently shared a post on social media telling Nigerians that they are responsible for their won safety. He shared this post amidst the rising level of insecurity in Nigeria. He stated that people need to take matters into their own hands and ensure they are safe. He told them that they will be much safer if they quickly realize that they are responsible for their own safety in Nigeria. His post has gotten a series of reactions.

Paul Okoye is a famous Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is 42 years old. He is famously known as Rudeboy. He and his twin brother, peter Okoye make up the famous music duo known as P-Square. Paul is no longer married but he is in a relationship with a Nigerian influencer named Ifeoma aka Ivy Zenny. Paul and his brother, Peter, rose to fame in the early 2000s. he was married to Anita Isama in 2014 before they split up. They have a child together. As of 2023, his net worth is estimated to be N4.8 billion. Their Join Net worth (P-Square) is estimated to be $150 million. Their wealth is from their music career alongside endorsement deals.
In his recent post, his words were most likely targeted at the fact that Nigeria has failed to protect her own citizens and this is why Paul has advised people to ensure their safety is prioritized. The post was shared via his Instagram story recently. He stated “the earlier you realize you’re responsible for your own safety in Nigeria, the safer you’ll be”
