Aliko Dangote Foundation partners with FG and Air Peace to settle stranded Nigerians on their return to Nigeria
Dangote has partnered with the Federal Government and Air Peace to assist and provide support in settling g the evacuated Nigerians.
The Board of Trustees of the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) are now involved in the evacuation of the Nigerian stranded in Sudan and also in the process of resettling.
It was Zouera Youssoufou who is the MD/CEO of ADF who has been the one contacting the management of the Nigerjna Airline, Air Peace and also the FG and this was to declare their willingness to assist these Nigerians.
She mentioned that they want to collaborate with the Federal Government alongside Air Peace to ensure the stranded Nigerians have a smooth transportation. They also wasn't to provide logistics so that these people can be comfortable when settling when they return to Nigeria.
She revealed how they understand the challenges of this mission and now want to assist to ensure a smooth operation so that everyone returns safely.
This isn't the first time this Foundation would be assisting the government. They had once assisted in logistics whe the Nigerian volunteer health workers who supported the Ebola containment efforts in Liberia were to return to Nigeria.
For years, this Foundation has been assisting in various areas in no small measure.
