Familiar faces have reunited in Japan, ahead of Inter Miami's next encounter against Vissel Kobe.

Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba were seen in a hearty company, possibly reminiscing about the good old days.

Iniesta previously represented Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe for 5 seasons, from July 2018 to July 2023 and he was impressive at the club before his departure.

The 39-year-old traveled to Tokyo to see his former teammates and he is also expected to be in the stadium when Inter Miami face off against his former side.

Before traveling to Japan, Andres Iniesta inundated his fans, with how thrilled he was to be reuniting with his former teammates at Inter Miami and Vissel Kobe.

Iniesta wrote on Instagram: “On the way to Japan. Excited to return to a place so special for us to experience this great match ⚽❤️ I'm looking forward to meeting good friends in Tokyo!”

After meeting up with his Barcelona pals in Tokyo, Andre Iniesta also took to Instagram to share how delighted he was to see them again.

He wrote: “How nice to see you again” and he also added the red heart emoji which signifies love to the post.

Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba achieved monstrous heights in Spain with Barcelona, as they showed their brilliance and assisted the Blaugrana side in winning bountiful trophies.

These legendary figures helped the Spanish side win the treble - Copa del Rey, La Liga, and UEFA Champions League in 2015.

These greats with the exclusion of Suarez also led the Catalan-based club to the Champions League title in 2005/06, 2008/09, 2010/11, and 2014/15.

Additionally, they won several trophies, including league titles, cups, and global honors.

Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquet, and Jordi Alba have had a swashbuckling career winning a truckload of trophies and they have also been recognized for their displays.

Anyway, the availability of Messi and Suarez for Inter Miami in their clash against Vissel Kobe is uncertain, with the duo missing out of their game against Hong Kong XI due to injury.

Reports indicate that Lionel Messi has a hamstring problem and underwent an MRI, before his side's encounter against Al Nassr, while Luis Suarez apparently has a chronic knee issue.

Al Nassr halted their 12-game winless run over the weekend, smashing Hong Kong Team XI 4-1, with several players heaving a sigh of relief due to the victory.

Their encounter against Vissel Kobe will go down on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with the kick-off time slated at 11:00 AM (WAT).

After this clash, Lionel Messi will be the center of attraction on Thursday, February 15, 2023, as he plays against boyhood club Newell's Old Boys.
