Asake pays tribute to Mohbad at his concert
Nigerian Afrobeats singer Asake paid respect to the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji aka Mohbad who died in September 2023. He did that at a concert he organized yesterday night and netizens respected him for that. Clearly, the sudden death of the late singer is still fresh in the hearts of his fans. Many expressed how hurt they feel whenever the name of Mohbad springs up in the media or their day-to-day conversations with people.
Mohbad died on the 12th of September, 2023, and was succeeded by his wife and baby boy, Liam. Candlelight sessions were held in honor of his name of his unremarkable talent in the music industry. Investigations have been conducted to look into his death which included the arrest of different suspects. Also, the ongoing coroner inquest had been put on hold till a later date by the court.
The majority of his fans still have an iota of hope that the singer will get the justice he deserves. Regardless, his music will continue to live on and he will be celebrated because a legend is never forgotten.
