Lagos big boy Yhemolee stated in a recent interview that his friend and Nigerian singer Asake selling out the O2 is unreal.
He spoke about the artist's struggles while they were still in school and how he always longed for his big break.
Yhemolee said it was an emotional moment for him seeing his friend performing at the O2. He said, "It was an emotional experience for me having to see my brother on stage"
Popular skitmaker Shank who was also at the interview said the show was like a get together between Asake and his friends.
Yhemolee said he is extremely impressed by his friend's immense growth in his musical career, saying he has had an amazing run from last year 2022 till date.
"I'm grateful that I'm able to experience a life changing situation right by my side. Most of these grass to grace stories, we only read it online but this one that happened, I can even write a book on it.", Yhemolee said.
He mentioned that Asake is just getting started and everything he has done since he broke into the limelight is just the tip of the iceberg.
