How UEFA rank clubs based on Coefficients

All the points garnered by each club are awarded by UEFA based on a stipulated principle call UEFA Coefficient.

UEFA Coefficient determine the number of points a club garners over a period of time.

Points are awarded base on teams' performance in UEFA club competitions such as Europa League, Conference League, and Champions League.

Teams who qualify for Champions are awarded automatic 4 points while additional 4 points are awarded for qualifying for the knockout of the competition.

This explains why the likes of Arsenal are off the top 10. Despite an impressive domestic run in the last two years, Arsenal returned to the Champions League last year after a six-year absence.
