The amounts involved in the transfer of Ousmane Dembele to Paris Saint Germain has been outlined and it looks like some individuals would be smiling to the bank.

Dembele is set to join PSG from Barcelona, where he has spent 6 years at, having signed for the club on the 25th of August, 2017.

Ousmane Dembele has made 185 appearances for the Catalan side, scoring 40 goals and providing 43 assists across all competitions.

In the entirety of his stint at Barcelona, Dembele was on the sidelines for an astonishing 784 days.

Xavi Hernandez has also confirmed Ousmane Dembele's decision to sign for Paris Saint Germain.

Speaking in an interview, Xavi said: “Ousmane Dembélé told us that he wants to leave and join PSG.

“We can’t compete, PSG bid is huge and out of the market, he spoke to Luis Enrique and Al Khelaifi.”

The Spaniard also expressed how pained he is seeing the 26-year-old exit the Blaugrana side.

He said: “It hurts me because we took care of him to make him happy here. But we can’t compete, he’s leaving.”

Barcelona will receive just 50% of Dembele's €50 million release clause, while the player's agent Moussa Sissoko will be paid the remaining 50%.

Ousmane Dembele will sign a four-year deal with Paris Saint Germain, which will keep him at the French capital at least until June, 2028.

The 26-year-old joined Barcelona for a huge €140 million but he will be departing Camp Nou for a ridiculously low amount compared to how much he was signed for.

Dembele was close to joining Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2022 but the Spanish giants couldn't agree a fee with the Parisians.

He will become Paris Saint Germain 10th signing this summer, having already signed Manuel Ugarte, Lucas Hernández, Hugo Ekitiké, Kang-in Lee, Xavi Simons and Milan Skriniar.

The Ligue 1 champions have also secured the services of Marco Asensio, Arnau Tenas and Cher Ndour this summer.

Some reports are indicating that Ousmane Dembele would be coming in as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, whose future continues to hang in the balance.

Paris Saint Germain are also edging closer to signing Goncalo Ramos from Portuguese side Benfica.

According to reports, Ramos has already agreed a deal in principle regarding personal terms with the Parc Des Princes club.

The Parisians will be signing the Portugal International for a fee of €80 million, with the inclusion of performance based add-ons.

He will be putting pen-to-paper on a five-year deal with PSG, which will see him remain at the club until June, 2028.

Goncalo Ramos has scored 41 goals and provided 16 assists in 106 appearances for Benfica.

The 22-year-old was instrumental to The Eagles successes last term as he assisted the club to win the Primeira Liga.

Ramos finished as the 2nd top scorer in the Portuguese top-flight league for the 2022/23 season, with 19 goals scored in 30 appearances.
