Buba Chiroma-Mashio emerges as newly elected speaker of Yobe 8th Assembly
Buba Chiroma-Mashio has emerged as the newly elected speaker of the 8th Yobe state House of Assembly.
House of Assemblies in Other states have been electing their speakers and other officials and now the assembly in Yobe state have also conducted their own election.
He is a lawmaker who represents Jajere Constituency. He has now been elected as the speaker of the assembly in Yobe state.
He also used to be a Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation in the 7th Assembly.
The election held recently concluded with his emergence as the winner of the 8yh assembly.
The deputy speaker who was newly elected is Ya’u Usman-Dachia. He is from the Jakusko constituency.
They also elected the House Leader in person of Mr Nasiru Hassan-Yusuf who is from the Damaturu I constituency.
These officers who were elected were unopposed by the other members of the 8th assembly
They also elected a chief whip , Muhammad Auwal-Bello. He was the former Deputy Speaker in the 7th assembly.
To Assit him is the deputy chief whip who is Ahmed Musa-Dumbol .
