Chef Dammy granted bail after being arrested over petition by her pastor

Popular young Nigerian chef, Dammy, has been released on bail after she was arrested recently. She was recently arrested following a petition by her pastor. Dammy, a renowned Nigerian student and chef, is in her 300 level at the Federal University of Oye. DSP Hakeem, the police spokesperson for Zone 17, has confirmed these reports.

Dammy, a chef, gained popularity for attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon—planning to cook for 120 hours straight, shortly after Hilda Baci's attempt. She faced criticism for her endeavor.
During her cook-a-thon, Dammy initially had support from her pastor and church members. However, a falling out occurred, and this lead to Dammy accusing her pastor of posing a threat to her life. Subsequently, the pastor filed a lawsuit against her to retract the allegation.

The police spokesperson disclosed that Chef Dammy was hit with a a petition from her pastor, leading to her invitation to the police station in Akure, Ondo state, on a Sunday, November 23. Dammy honoured and Obeyed the invitation, and she attended the questioning at the police station. Afterwards she was granted administrative bail with a surety. It's emphasized that she was neither arrested nor detained.
