Chelsea are reportedly ready to part ways with Trevoh Chalobah as the January transfer window opens.

Chalobah has been out of action for the Blues due to injury but has return to full fitness, as per the Mail.

However, his Chelsea future is in doubt with the Blues already grappling with an overbloated squad after Todd Boehly's unprecedented splurge on transfers.

Following his injury which saw the 24-year-old sidelined since August, it was pretty evident he will struggle to earn a regular spot in the squad after his return.

Todd Boehly oversaw an unprecedented overhaul of Chelsea last summer with key first team players allowed to leave the club to make way for new signings.

According to the Sun, Trevoh Chalobah is next on the line of players expected to leave as the club hopes to balance their wage books to avoid breaching Financial Fair play Rules.

The club are reportedly ready for a loan move with a buy option for Chalobah this January.

Trevoh Charlobah linked to top clubs in Europe

With his dwindling fortunes at Stamford Bridge, Chalobah has been eyed by top clubs in Europe, as per the Sun

London rivals Tottenham are said to be interested in the player as Ange Postecoglou hopes to add finishing touches to his star-studded side.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in a move for Chalobah in what could be a big leap for the out-of-favor footballer.

Also on the list of clubs interested in the player is Jose Mourinho's Roma. Mourinho is said to be a strong admirer of the Chalobah and is keen on signing him to the Serie A side

Trevoh Chalobah Chelsea contract and stats

Chalobah, 24, is a homegrown Chelsea star, having had spells with the club's U-21 and U-23 teams.

He made his first team debut for Chelsea in 2021/22 season, making 20 appearances for the club.

Last season, he made 25 Premier League appearances for the Blues with no assist or goal, including 6 Champions League appearances.

Chalobah has four years remaining on his Chelsea contract. He signed a new six-year contract with the club in 2022.
