The hardline Iranian regime has censored the curvaceous bum of Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez from her family picture.
In a family photo with partner Ronaldo and their children, Georgina's backside was digitally altered to appear flat in a figure-hugging black dress during Ronaldo's 39th birthday celebrations.
The Iranian regime’s Hamshahri newspaper published the image, but there was no sign of Georgina’s protruding bum.
On the other hand, some have expressed disapproval of this action, arguing that it is an excessive measure and fear it may perpetuate the subjugation of women in certain regions.
A source said, “Georgina will be very upset. She works hard for her body and is very proud of her curves. It just shows the view of women in some parts of the world is twisted. It’s only a bottom.”
Belgian MP Darya Safai, who identified the digital manipulation, commented, "This is exactly how sick Islamists perceive women."
In addition, British-Iranian actor Omid Djalili remarked: "Showing such a lack of respect for women by publicly distorting them speaks volumes."
Despite her previous behavior of showing off her rear on social media, the 30-year-old model has adhered to Muslim customs since relocating to Saudi Arabia with Ronaldo which includes covering up and dressing modestly.
