Cristiano Ronaldo was cracked up by Mark William Calaway, fondly known as The Undertaker during the pre-match formalities of the Riyadh Season Cup.

Ronaldo couldn't hold back his laughter as the retired professional wrestler presented the Riyadh Season trophy ahead of the encounter involving Al Nassr and Al Hilal.

The clash signaled the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to action, having been unavailable for Al Nassr's last match due to a calf injury.

The Portuguese wasn't at his best against Al Hilal, but he can be excused given that he is still regaining match fitness.

Ronaldo was absent from the Knights of Najd's 6-0 smashing victory over Inter Miami, with him missing the chance to battle against long-term rival Lionel Messi.

On Thursday night, Al Hilal defeated Al Nassr 2-0 in sublime fashion, courtesy of goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dawsri.

Jorge Jesus' side had a good run to win the Riyadh Season Cup, with the Saudi Arabian side defeating Lionel Messi's Inter Miami 4-3 in the first game, before silencing Al Nassr 2-0.

They have had a magnificent season, with the team currently sitting 1st on the Saudi Pro League table, with 53 points from 19 matches.

Astonishingly, Al Hilal are unbeaten in 19 league matches, having won 17 games, drawing 2, and losing none.

It will be interesting to see if they can keep up this form, with the team just halfway from claiming the Saudi Arabian top-flight league title.

Jorge Jesus' men return to action on February 15, 2024, facing Iranian side Sepahan in the Round of 16 of the Asian Champions League.

The reinforcements made during the summer have come good for Al Hilal, with notable names like; Yassine Bounou, Kalidou Koulibaly, Malcom, Neymar, and Aleksandar Mitrovic joining the club.

Renan Lodi also left French side Olympique Marseille to join Al Hilal in the January transfer window.

Star signing Neymar is unavailable for action and has been ruled out for the entirety of the campaign, having suffered a knee injury in October 2023, during a 2026 World Cup qualification encounter for Brazil against Uruguay.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has had an impressive season with Al Nassr this term, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in 25 appearances.

Ronaldo joined the Riyadh-based club on January 1, 2023, on a free transfer, following his rancorous exit from Manchester United.

He penned a staggering deal with the Saudi Pro League giants, which will run until June 30, 2025.
