Dead body of 28 year old lady found in Lagos Hotel
The dead body of a 28 year old lady has been found in a hotel in Lagos state just recently. The body was discovered after she spent a night with her lover at that hotel.
They discovered the body in one of the rooms at Eagle Rock Garden and Suite. This hotel is located on Yale Okeowo Street, off Community Road in Ago Palace, in Lagos State.
This happened on Wednesday. The lover had checked into the hotel with this lady and a few minutes later he walked out without the lady.
They revealed that this man's name is Kelvin. They discovered this because that was the name of the receipt of the check in. It was the hotel receptionist who provided the evidence of the criminal's name.
It was Thursday morning when the body of this lady was eventually found in the room. It was one of the staff of the hotel who revealed this.
She said that this man who was young got to the hotel Wednesday night around 11pm and he had a lady with him. She says the man looks to be around 28 years old.
She said he made a transfer to pay for the room and he paid N9,000 and went to the room with the lady.
Few minutes later, he came back downstairs and asked what time the hotel closes the gate. He said he wanted to visit a club.
He then gave the assurance that he would be back before the closing time since his girlfriend was still in the room.
This man then left and never came back to the hotel.
The staff shared that the next morning, they made several attempts to enter the room as they knocked repeatedly but there was no response from the lady.
They then peeped from the window and were alerted when they saw a leg on the floor. They quickly informed the manager who immediately called the Police division at Ago Palace.
They were then able to break down the door and saw the body of this lady unclad on the floor. They discovered an inhaler used for catarrh inside her nose while on the floor.
The Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin was contacted and he also confirmed the incident. He revealed that he had heard about it and had begun an investigation into the case.
The case has also been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, in Panti.
