The director of media and publicity at the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Emma Powerful, disclosed the organization's refusal for the Federal Government and the Department of State Services (DSS) to perform an ear surgery on their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, while he's in custody. Recall that IPOB is an organization that isn't in the good books of the Nigerian government.
Emma Powerful claimed that the surgery is obviously a hidden agenda to kill their boss, Kanu, that has been held in custody by the DSS for over two years. He said that Kanu's surgery should be performed by his trusted physicians only as the association vehemently rejects any external physician operating on the IPOB boss.
The ear surgery is an aftermath of the injuries inflicted on Kanu when he was captured in Kenya. He further expressed his concern about their leader's health and demanded that Kanu be released to seek medical attention as ordered by the court but only to his personal physicians. This is an attempt to secure his life and ensure that Kanu isn't operated on by his enemies.
