When I was much younger, whenever I drove passed the streets of Lagos, I always looked at these writings on the walls of Lagos and wondered what it is all about. As I grow older, A lot of times, I have overheard people asking "Is it every day people move into Lagos?" I am sure it is because of the filled streets of Lagos with people. And Lagosian always says "The city of Lagos is for hustlers and will only belong to the people with the hustling vibes". Lagos does not sleep and so do the people in it. As an average Lagosian, I am sure you have come across these writings on the walls in public places, electricity polls, Roadside buildings, public toilets, and public buildings, these writings flood the streets of Lagos from Obalende to Oshodi, Onipanu, Cement, PWD, there are barely places within Lagos you will pass without seeing these writings. These writings have to do with the factory works, At first, I used to think "Who will call these people for these jobs” However, on a fateful day, I was coming from Oshodi to Ikeja and I saw these writings on the way, I was soliloquizing about these writings, and how I wondered if people really call and get jobs from it, and the man beside me responded, " Yes Aunty, I even got my job through one of those contacts”. With this, it came to mind the number of Lagosians who are looking for factory jobs and how many employment opportunities these factories actually provide.
