In an interview with Calculated Couples, Solomon Buchi sat with his wife Adeola to answer certain questions about his marriage. He rejected the claims of being a feminist stating that he used to be a feminist because he was completely clueless at the time.

He revealed that he became a feminist due to his experience. Growing up, he saw how women were unfairly treated and went through pressure. He believes in gender equality but after a while, he realized the movement was not what it seemed.

He stated, "It was no longer about gender equality. It was about the demonization of men and destruction of family values." Solomon said there are lot of women who hide their scars and trauma under feminism. These type of women aren't submissive and they are quick to fight with their significant other.

He said, "There are a lot of women out there who call themselves feminists. When you look at them, you'll see that they're scarred and they need therapy. You don't want to bring such women into your family. You don't want to build a family with them because they're not ready to build a family. They're just do combative.

Women like that don't believe in submission. They don't believe that a man actually leads. They believe that they're seen with a man and this brings so much strife into the family."

Advising men, he said, "Marry a woman who has family values, submissive, homely and intelligent. I'm not saying you should marry a woman who is a servant. I'm just saying marry a woman who glories in her womanhood."

Solomon Buchi said God ministered to him and asked him to drop his feminist beliefs because it was not in line with his values. He said gender equality is applicable in life but it doesn't apply in marriage because the husband is the head and the wife submits.

His wife Adeola proudly supported his stance saying she agrees to everything he said. She said as Christians that they are, the Bible is the final authority over every subject matter including marriage. She affirmed that the man is the head. It is her duty to submit to him and her husband's duty to love her.

Paul, the host, asked Adeola, "In a case scenario, if your man is walking a plank and there's a boat and the water, he's holding your hand and the both of you are walking to the edge of the water and you know what's about to happen, would you let your man lead you in there?"

Adeola answered "Yes. That's a very extreme example but I trust his leadership because I know he has submitted to God. That's why it's important that you choose very carefully who you submit to in marriage.

If you know the person is filled with the Holy Spirit, you can be rest assured that even if they make mistakes, the Holy Spirit will call them back."
