Government should leave Yahoo boys alone...They are moving the Nigerian economy, elderly man orders
A Nigerian man has urged the FG to allow Yahoo boys to breathe. He said Yahoo boys are the ones moving the Nigerian economy forward and without them, the economy would have been stagnant. He explained how Yahoo boys hugely patronize hotels and restaurants by lodging and eating to their fill. Without them, most businesses would have liquidated because a lot of people cannot afford those things.
He added that the Government's reason to curb Yahoo isn't justified because they were the ones that paved the way for Yahoo to eat deep into the minds of the youths. The rate of unemployment has left the youths no choice but to become fraudsters to fend for themselves and their families. He added, "I want to appeal to the Government that these Yahoo boys should be left alone. Because if you decide to go after them, there will be greater criminals in the nation. And there'll be greater poverty. Already we see the poverty going up, and if we decide to push this further, the poverty will get greater."
