Help! Family seeks justice after their 37-year-old son was poisoned to death at work
The family of a 27-year-old man identified as Alaukwu Chukwuemeka Christian who was allegedly poisoned to death at work have called for help. The deceased was an only child and his sudden death was suspicious to his family members especially after the company he worked at refused to transport his corpse to his family for a proper burial.
When the deceased passed on, the company didn't inform any member of his family. Instead, they deposited his corpse at the morgue, removed his intestines, and embalmed his body.
A family source who shed more light on the incident said, "He works at Ratty supermarket in Ikorodu. On Monday, he went to work and was po¥§+ned to d£ath. They said someone bought food for him and after eating he started vomiting until he di£d. After he di£d, instead of calling to inform his family, the owner of Ratty took his corp§£ to the mortuary where they r£moved his intestines and emblemed him."
"When we went there, the woman asked us how much do we need for the burial, that she will give it to us so we can go and bury him. We are seeking justice, we want the relevant authorities to look into this. He was the only child of his mom and he can’t just go like that.”
