The Lagos Bus Rapid Transit popularly known as BRT is a transportation system by Lagos State for the people of Lagos State. The BRT was launched on the 7th of March in 2008 under the governorship of Babatunde Raji Fashola. This transportation has made life easier for the people of Lagos because it is fast, swift, easy, and very affordable. The BRT also covers a lot of routes within Lagos state, some of the routes include- Ikeja - CMS/Obalende/TBS, Ikorodu - Mile 12 – Ketu – Ojota – (Oshodi) - Palm Groove – Onipanu – Fadeyi – (Yaba) -Stadium – Costain – CMS – TBS and so much more. The BRT is operated by Primero Transport Service Limited under the regulation of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).
