Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) is a state University located in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. It is the first University in Ogun State and the second oldest in the Southwest region of Nigeria. The purpose of the institution is to provide the best educational experience for its students by ensuring that each student gets value for his/her money.

OOU was originally founded on the 7th of July, 1982 as Ogun State University (OSU). It was renamed Olabisi Onabanjo University on the 29th of May 2001, to honor a former Ogun State Governor, Olabisi Onabanjo, because of his efforts as a Governor birth the institution.

The name of the sitting Vice Chancellor is Professor Ayodeji Johnson. The institution has the facility to cater to 50,000 students per session. There are 10 faculties in the institution with roughly 53 departments. The facilities include:

1. Faculty of Science
2. Faculty of Education
3. Faculty of Law
4. Faculty of Art
5. Faculty of Social Management Services
6. Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
7. Faculty of Clinical Sciences
8. Faculty of Pharmacy
9. Faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences
10. Faculty of Agricultural Sciences

For returning students: log in with your matric number as a password
For new students: log in with your matric number and use your surname as your password

How to change the password on OOU student portal​

Do you wish to change your password on the OOU student portal? It is very easy and requires just three steps.

Step 1: Go to the official OOU website designed for password reset

Step 2: Fill your matric number and email address. You will receive a mail containing a link to reset your password. If you can't find the mail, check your spam folder.

Step 3: Once you've received the link to reset your password, click on it. You'll be directed to a page where you'll be asked to enter your new eight-digit password.
