Nigerian singer Crown Uzama popularly known as Shallipopi said he became singer Wizkid's fan because of his song "Joy".
A few days after referring to Wizkid as his 'babe' in a recent video, Shallipopi declared his love for Wizkid in an interview saying he loves his music but he doesn't know most of his earliest songs. Shallipopi said he doesn't know Wizkid's earliest songs but the one that drew his attention to him was Joy.
Shallipopi said he never connected to Wizkid's sound until he heard the song "Joy" which made him a fan instantly. Wizkid's Joy was released in 2014 from his studio album Ayo. The song talks about how his mother's happiness knew no bounds when he was born. Being the only son and last child of his mother, Wizkid said his mother felt immense joy for finally giving birth to a male child.
Wizkid sang about how his mother told him to keep believing and that the sky would be his beginning. He also thanked his fans for supporting his music from its inception and prayed that they will all experience JOY all the days of their lives.
