Notorious Abuja kidnapper Chinaza Philips who was arrested on 18th January 2024, has stated that he isn't a kidnapper.
Chinaza Philips was arrested last week on his way to Kano from Abuja after kidnapping a certain Segun Akinyemi. Chinaza and his gang were arrested by the policemen of Kawo police station in Kaduna while the victim was rescued. Chinaza was transferred to Abuja Police Command on January 19th.
Chinaza Philips said he isn't a kidnapper and the job he does to earn a living is to steal cars from people at night and sell them in Kano. He revealed that he is in the business with his friends. On the night he was arrested, he and his friends were on patrol to steal a car from a particular man. After collecting the car, one of his friends, Yellow, who was their leader, asked the owner of the car to get into the backseat. He didn't know his motive for doing this and he didn't argue either. On getting to Kaduna on their way to Kano, the police caught up with them and he was arrested.
