The CEO of Jenny's Glow skincare Igbinoba Jennifer has finally broken silence on the video making the rounds online that her Abuja store was shut down by NAFDAC.
Two days ago, a certain TikTok influencer known as Very DarkMan posted a video of her store being sealed by NAFDAC as a result of selling unapproved skincare products to the public.
It was reported that Jenny's Glow generated a fake NAFDAC number which she uses to sell her products to her customers.
Yesterday, Jenny's Glow took to social media to address claims that her store was raided by NAFDAC as announced by the popular TikToker, Very DarkMan.
She said people have been asking her to keep quiet and let things slide but she had to speak up because people have been talking down on her and bullying her influencers and ambassadors.
She revealed that her Abuja store wasn't sealed by NAFDAC as portrayed by Very DarkMan. She said there are some of her products that are pending approval from the agency but her Abuja store is still open and functioning.
Agitated, she said she is sure someone paid the TikToker to tarnish her image because she doesn't know why he is hell-bent on ruining her image when she's not the only skincare brand in the country.
Jenny's Glow mentioned that she started her business from the scratch and it is her consistency that made her build a successful brand so nobody can bring her down.
She said the reason why she doesn't want to arrest the famous TikToker is because of the cease and desist letter that was issued to him by the authorities.
She also expressed that there is no perfect skincare product so people should stop bullying her on social media and talking down on her brand.
